LBC Reopening Plan

These are unique days as we continue worshipping the lord during the Covid-19 pandemic. God has continued to be faithful to us the last few months and will continue to lead us in the coming days. I am sharing several things with you as we make plans for an in-person worship service. First and foremost, we look forward to worshipping with you through in person worship when we can.  I enlisted a team of leaders from our church to help me discern how and when we should offer in person worship.

Even through the pandemic, we know that God is in control and He is able to heal our land and protect us from harm. We want you to know that we are trusting the Lord for wisdom as we make decisions for worship and ministry at LBC.  I am praying for our LBC family. While we look forward to worshipping with all of you soon, the team feels led to move slowly and exercise caution.

Isaiah 26:3-4 – You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.

Prov. 3 :5-6 My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So, you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

3-step Process

  1. We are praying for God’s will to be done for LBC. We are seeking the face of almighty God and asking for his guidance as we make plans.
  2. We are sensitive to the comfort level of our people concerning in person worship and precautions you will be taking as you come back. (We sent survey to church which has proven to be helpful).
  3. We are listening to local health department recommendations,, and our state governor recommendations for the reopening of in person worship.
