Children’s Ministry

Children are very important!  We believe that God has entrusted children to us to train in the Word of God.  We want to see our children to come to know Christ through the preaching of the Gospel and be trained in what the Word of God says.  We want them to see Jesus in all of the Bible and how important Jesus is to all of their lives.

5/6 Ministry

Opportunities for students in the 5th and 6th grades to experience the Gospel and transition from children’s activities to preteen activities!

If you would like to connect your family with our Children’s Ministry, including 5/6 Ministry, or use your gifts to serve children and families, please contact Teresa Roberts.

Student Ministry (7th-12th grades)

Teens and parents face greater challenges than nearly any previous generation. Adding to those challenges is a false narrative of parenting and adolescence. But we believe that parents and teenagers can have vibrant, healthy, God-honoring relationships that are a blessing to themselves and others! These years are vitally important, and provide great opportunity for students to come to know God personally through Jesus Christ, and learn to follow Him in all that they do.

As we teach the Bible and build relationships, we focus our efforts on helping students understand how to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ before focusing on behavioral change that can only then flow from the Holy Spirit who gives new life to all who walk in step with him.  We meet weekly on Wednesdays at 6:00pm for Bible study, Sunday mornings at 9:30am for Sunday School and have various activities that you can find on our student calendar. We’d love to connect with you.  Learn more here or contact Matt Magee with any questions.

Community Groups

God has called the church to pass the faith down from one generation to the next.  Our intergenerational Community Group ministry aims to connect families in worship fellowship through Bible study, singing, and prayer as well as creating an environment for toddlers through seniors to experience God’s love and extend his grace to one another.

We have four primary goals with our Community Groups:

  • See all aspects of our church vision exemplified in community groups,
  • Provide greater flexibility for community groups so as to involve more people in discipleship,
  • Equip parents to lead in the evangelism & discipleship of their children, and
  • Build greater community and deeper fellowship among believers among all ages.

Most of our community groups meet on Sunday evenings at 6:00.  Contact us to inquire about exact locations and meeting times.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast

On the first Saturday of every month men gather to pray for our church and our community.  They meet in the fellowship hall at 7:30 a.m.  We would love to have you join us for this time of prayer and rich fellowship.

Women’s Ministry

We want to provide women an opportunity to grow in their faith, become better mothers, wives, sisters and daughters. Throughout the year our women gather together to study God’s Word, pray with and encourage one another.

Our Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month for lunch, prayer and missions ministry.

Call the office or send a message to find out what our women’s ministry schedule is.

55-Alive

Once you get past fifty-five, the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the 55-Alive group provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable prayer and interaction.

We invite you to join us on the third Thursday of each month, at 6:00pm, for our 55-Alive Potluck.

Music & Worship

[Choir members click here]

God delights in the praise of His people, and we delight to praise our majestic, triune God!  We encourage people to worship the Lord using music and the arts through a variety of styles.  We aim to honor the Lord in all that we do musically, and would love you to be a part of what we are doing as a church to praise and honor Him!  On a typical Sunday our worship team will lead primarily guitar-driven music that captures the best of modern Christian congregational singing, while retaining the historic musical gems from years past.

There are many ways you can serve in the Music & Worship Ministry, and we would love to talk with you about it.  Please contact Matt Magee if you would like to use your gifts and passions to serve the Lord here.

Sunday School

Sunday School can be a great time of Christian fellowship, Bible study, and spiritual growth.  Sunday School classes meet at 9:30 on Sunday mornings, and we have something for every age!  Many of our classes use The Gospel Project, or other Christ-centered Bible study material. If you’re not connected, this i a great place to grow deeper and build great friendships.
