Student Ministry

Our Student Ministry exists to serve the students and families of Lewisport and Hancock County. Families are one of our core values at LBC, and we understand how formative the pre-teen and teenage years are. We desire to be a resource to help encourage the spiritual growth of our students as they begin to find their place in God’s kingdom.

We have a fantastic team of volunteers helping to lead our student ministry who are passionate about building relationships and pointing your students to Jesus. They help facilitate conversations in small groups and are great resources for your students to connect with and learn from.

Our Student Ministry wants to continue to encourage the growth of our students in their biblical worldview as well as preparing them for life outside the home post-graduation. We do this not by separating our students from the rest of the church, but by integrating them into the normal life of the church body. Students aren’t just the church of the future. They are a vital part of the church and God’s mission for his people today, and we want to equip them to be faithful followers of Christ in the here and now.
