Lewisport Baptist Church is a community of Christ followers who are actively and passionately loving God, serving others, and living on mission in our homes, workplaces, schools, and world. At LBC our worship services are encouraging, family friendly, and most of all seek to make much of Jesus as we worship him together. We sing various styles of songs together, led by our praise team, hear a sermon preached faithfully from God’s word, and have a time to respond to whatever the Holy Spirit may lead.
We have a nursery staffed by trained volunteers for children up to age three. We also offer a time of Children’s Church for children age three through kindergarten. These children stay in our service through a few songs and are dismissed from there. Parents may take their children out of any rear exit and be directed to the children’s church room by any of our volunteers. Children in first grade and older are encouraged to participate in our service, and we also offer coloring sheets and other items to keep them engaged.
We’re far more concerned about meeting the needs of people than what they are wearing. Most people at LBC come in whatever they feel comfortable in. You can wear just about anything and fit in at LBC. Come check it out!
